National Library of China Cultural Innovation Project
The cultural experience box set of "Hands Unleashed" carefully crafted by the National Library of China contains the following six themes. Each theme box will take you to experience the operation process of an ancient Chinese handicraft. Quite interesting.

Scroll
Scrolls are a representative of ancient Chinese bookbinding craftsmanship, which follows the scroll form of silk books.

Papermaking
Papermaking is one of the four great inventions in my country. It has greatly changed the way people write and read, and is a revolution in writing materials.

Folded
The craftsmanship of sutra-folding arose with the introduction of Buddhism into China, and it is another representative of the binding craftsmanship after scrolls.

Engraving
Woodblock printing improves the efficiency of book publishing and circulation, and makes the printing of book content standardized and efficient.

Wire bound book
The thread binding process emerged in the middle of the Ming Dynasty, marking the maturity of the ancient Chinese binding process. Wire-bound books have the advantage of being opened and closed and not easily scattered.

Rubbing
Rubbing accurately and realistically reflects the original appearance of ancient stele inscriptions. Compared with the original stone inscriptions, the rubbings are less prone to weathering and decay, and are more portable and easy to preserve and circulate.
